Growing up with CF is hard. Growing up with CF in the 1970s was really hard. But CF never stopped my friend Brady, because his parents instilled a CAN DO attitude in him. He also tried to keep up with his awesome big brother, Gary. And so sports were a big part of his childhood, which is how we spent most of our time. Skateboarding, playing hoops on the driveway, skating on the ponds, just like all of the other kids. Fast forward and Brady is approaching 50 and has an incredible wife and two amazing daughters. Sue, Charlotte, Catie and Meredith and I will run and bike over the weekend to raise money to assist those impacted by CF, especially young kids, so they CAN DO as much as Brady HAS DONE.
