Help prevent gun violence and homelessness among youth in the DC Area by supporting BEST Kids’ 11th Annual Superhero 5K & Fun Run! On Saturday, May 6, we will “Race for Change” at Bluemont Park in Arlington, VA to help change the future for many of our youth.
Did you know…
· 18 teens were fatally shot in DC in 2022, more than double the number in 2021
· An average of 1 out of every 4 youth in foster care will become homeless within 4 years of aging out of foster care
BEST Kids is committed to breaking these negative cycles and with your help, we will!
BEST Kids provides high-quality, one-on-one mentorship and critical programming to youth in foster care and youth at risk. Their goal is to raise $50,000 to provide college and career readiness skills and resources to equip our youth to build healthy, secure, and productive futures.
