My beloved pet Sammy was in the car with me when I had my accident back in 2011, it was on Fathers Day. she stayed by my side until help arrived. While I was in the hospital recovering I thought that I had lost her, only to find out that friends had taken her in to care for her and to make sure when I was well enogh to bring her unto see me at Crotched Mountain Rehab.
This past April, I lost my beloved girl and miss her, I decided that this year I would walk for the people with brain injuries like myself but to also walk in her memory as well, she is my true hero and after everything we had been through together, it is my way of saying Thank You to her for staying by my side
