Missaukee Humane Society was founded in 1989, and operates without federal, state or county funding. They are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operating in Northern Michigan. The local community and surrounding Michigan communities realize they sincerely care about all animals. MHS is a no-kill facility that provides the best possible care to all animals. All employees and volunteers provide much needed love and attention to all animals entering their doors!
