Diane and I are walking for our beloved son who passed way September 8, 2023 due to complications with Hydrocephalus. James was an outgoing, happy boy who overcame many obstacles, surgeries and challenges. From the day he was born, Diane and I were blessed with James and he was the center of our universe ever since. No matter where we went or who came to visit, he had fun with every visitor, happy as can be. When he passed, I vowed to live like James did - happy, carefree and he did not let anything stop or bother him. Some days it is difficult to live up to these ideals, and that is why I am participating in this walk. I want other parents to not have to live up to their childrens' hopes and dreams, but instead enjoy them and live with them.
