This past year, at age 29, I discovered a lump on y right breast. Initially, I could not believe it -at my age, I never thought it could be breast cancer. But after tests and a biopsy, my worst fears were confirmed. I had breast cancer.
I have finished my surgery and radiation, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support that surrounded me through every step. I want others to feel that same strength and compassion, which is why I am participating in the Donna 5K. My hope is to give back and help others find healing and hope in this journey together.
