I am an 11 year Breast Cancer Survivor, having had Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and received 6 chemotherapies, 2 surgeries, and 33 radiation treatments that saved my life. At the time, my daughters were ages 18, 8, and 5 years old. I was a single Mom to them and had been working hard to maintain our home and lives when I was diagnosed. It was a big bump in the road for us, but we came out of it strong! Now it's all about bringing awareness of the disease to all women, encouraging them to use their voices to advocate for themselves, and also to do your SELF BREAST EXAMS!!
