Launched in 2022, Patriotic Pies helps to provide snack-size MoonPies to our service members and veterans as a heartfelt way to thank them for their service to our country. Schools and non-profits play a key role, promoting the program as they raise funds for their own goals. Supporters can contribute as little as $25 to help support the mission of Patriotic Pies. Delivered fresh and free of charge to bases and troops, Averitt Express ships these delicious snacks to military bases several times per year for our service members to enjoy. Since its inception, about 200,000 Patriotic Pies have been distributed to troops by the USO and Friends Of The Troops. Our 2025 goal and mission this year is to ship over 1 Million MoonPies out for troops to enjoy. Join us to help accomplish our mission this year!
