The 25th annual Dash for Donation is just around the corner!
As you know, I am a 2-time kidney transplant recipient. My first kidney was from a living donor, my sister Jackie in 2005 and my second was from a deceased donor in 2023. I want to honor these precious gifts by walking to spread the awareness for organ, eye and tissue awareness particularly in the African American community.
On Saturday, July 13, our team will walk with thousands of others through downtown Columbus to raise awareness for organ, eye and tissue donation. The Dash is raising funds to benefit Lifeline of Ohio’s programs, and all contributions will celebrate the ripple effect each can make through organ, eye and tissue donation.
