Running for Logan

I've never been a runner. In fact, this will be my very first 5K.

I signed up because I wanted to challenge myself in a way that's uncomfortable. While training for a race doesn't compare to the challenges Logan faces every day, it reminds me that growth happens when we keep putting one foot in front of the other, even when it's hard.

My son, Logan, is autistic, and he inspires me every single day with his determination, resilience, and the joy he brings to our lives. Every milestone he reaches is the result of hard work, patience, and perseverance.

I'm proud to run this race in his honor and to support the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, which helps provide resources and opportunities for individuals with autism and their families.
