GCXC Racing - Youngstown presents the inaugural Shamrock 5K & Leprechaun Dash taking place on Sunday, March 8th, 2026, at Waterworth Memorial Park, in Salem, Ohio.

The address for the park is:  700 Sunset Blvd., Salem, Ohio 44460.

- Registration and packet pick up take place on race day in the Salem Community Center (SCC) from 8:15am-9:15am.  The SCC is located next to Waterworth Memorial Park.  The address for the SCC is:  1098 N. Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, Ohio 44460.

- The Leprechaun Dash (1/4 Mile) is open to ages 13 & Under and begins at 9:30am.  The 5K begins at 10:00am.  Both events are professionally chip timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.

- Registration for the Leprechaun Dash includes a finisher medal, custom bib number and optional participant shirt.

- Registration for the 5K includes a finisher medal, custom bib number, participant shirt & free beer at Coaches Burger Bar (Salem) and/or non-alcoholic beverage.

- Top three boys and girls in the Leprechaun Dash also receive special prizes.

- Top three overall male and female winners in the 5K will receive Coaches Burger Bar gift cards ($30, $20, $10).  

- Top three male/female in the following age groups will also receive Shamrock socks:  

(10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Up).

- Indoor restrooms available inside SCC.

- Proceeds benefit Waterworth Memorial Park.
