Friends for the Protection of Animals was founded on the idea of helping those in need. Our team is made up entirely of volunteers. We are guided by ideals such as (a) the promotion of responsible animal guardianship and the humane treatment of all animals (b) to encourage a symbiotic relationship between humans and animals (c) advocacy for animal welfare laws and the effective enforcement of those laws (d) the rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned, neglected, abused, and homeless animals.
