The Elephant Run 5K, Steven Michael's Mile and Gianna's Fun Run

Our baby, Grant, was born still on November 9th, 2022. We have been changed forever by the sudden loss of him, but we know that he is laying in angels' arms. Our grief has pushed us to be a part of "Forget-Me-Not Baskets" because we received one of these baskets from friends when we lost our baby boy, and it was truly so special and helpful to us.  We support each and every family who has lost a child, and these baskets provide grief support we never knew existed.   We will walk as a family again this year at the Elephant run, as a way to remember Grant, but also to raise money to provide more baskets to other families who need them.    Love,  The Martini family

Forget-Me-Not Baskets.

Forget-Me-Not Baskets provides bereavement items to families who have experienced a loss during pregnancy or childbirth. They have donated over 10,500 baskets to over 65 hospitals and obstetric offices nationwide, while concentrating mostly in Ohio. 

Each July, Forget-Me-Not Baskets hosts an Elephant Run 5K, 1 Mile and Kids Run.  I am raising funds to support their mission and I will also be participating in the Elephant Run.  This race is so much more than just a race, it's also a day of remembrance for 100's of families.  In 2023, The Elephant Run SOLD OUT hosting 988 race participants and 100's of spectators.  You should check it out.  You can choose the in person or virtual option!
