Florida Compassion Foundation is a not-for-profit Florida corporation founded by Tracy and Kimberly (Kim) Hussey following the death of Kimberly’s Mom. Kim’s Mom passed away from early onset Alzheimer’s disease at the young age of 68.
Kim and Tracy have not only witnessed first hand how this atrocious disease affected the person with the disease, but the patients spouse, family and loved ones.
In many ways it is more devastating to the loved ones than to the patient themselves.
Florida Compassion Foundation raises funds to help the families of Alzheimer’s patients – to assist with items that insurance will not cover. Anything from private nursing care to travel expense funds.
