Dear friends and partners of Rockford Christian Middle School,
We are excited to announce brand new opportunity for our school to partner with Christ's Kingdom in the City and support the important work of a local ministry. Bridge Street Ministries is a local Christ-centered urban youth ministry with the mission to equip and empower urban youth to become future leaders of restoration and hope in their communities. Many of the youth that BSM work with lack the resources, support, and opportunities to reach their full God-given potential. These kids are often labeled "at-risk" youth. However, BSM believes that they are "high potential" youth with incredible capacity as image-bearers of God. Through various programs, BSM works to support the spiritual, academic, and social/emotional development of the high potential youth of Grand Rapids.
As Bridge Street Ministries continues to deepen and expand their work, we are excited to partner with them as FundRacers in the upcoming Rivertown Races 5k, 10k, and half marathon on April 22, 2022. Bridge Street Ministries owns and manages Rivertown Races and uses the race as a revenue stream to supports their work. Our students will be running in the race and raising money to support their mission.
We invite you to consider partnering with us in this opportunity as well. As we work toward our training goals, would you consider helping us also meet our FundRacing goal? Our school has BIG goal of raising $5,000 for Bridge Street Ministries through this race! To meet that goal, each student is woking to raise $100. Would you consider contributing to our goal?
