Flacas Clean H2O VIRTUAL Run

Sat April 25, 2020 Directions

Flacas Clean H2O Run is going virtual!

Due to the COVID-19 social distancing restrictions, we will be changing our April 25 race to a virtual run.  All current registrants can transfer their registration to the virtual run, donate their entry fee, or request a refund.  Please note that only the registration fee, not the online registration convenience fee, will be refunded.

All virtual runners will receive instructions for submitting their time.  The virtual race will be held on the same date and time.  T-shirts and awards will not be offered; however, all virtual run finishers can show their results email at Flacas Fitness & Brews for 1 free breakfast taco and 1 free domestic beer.

Here Are Your Options:

Virtual races happen all the time, and allow you to join the fun without the crowds. You simply run the distance on your own, and report your results - we’ll send you instructions.

You understand that events are expensive, even when cancelled, and you want us to keep your registration fees to help cover our costs. We deeply appreciate your generosity and look forward to seeing you at an event soon.

We understand. We hope you can join us next time.

Children under age 16 riding the course must be accompanied by an adult.

REFER YOUR FRIENDS:
Share our event with your friends and enjoy the day together! Each registrant will receive a unique code after registering.  Share this on social media! If you get four friends to register using your unique code, you'll receive $20 back from your fee.

PLEASE DONATE!:
We have lowered the registration fee so that more people can participate. And to encourage you to make a donation to either Kids Across Cultures or Helping Hands of Hico (or both!) The purpose of our run is to raise money for these great charities who focus on improving the lives of people locally and around the world. KAC and H3 will receive the proceeds from the run. And your additional donations can help that impact reach even farther. Last year we raised $2,700 and we hope you'll help us break that record! Donate with your online registration or bring a check to the event.

** When you donate, you can earn neat prizes! More details coming soon.

* Kids Across Cultures is based in Dublin, Texas, and provides educational, medical, community, and clean water support to families and villages in need around the world. So many children and families still do not have access to clean drinking water and KAC is working to change that. In the last two years they have distributed over 6,500 ceramic water filters so that families can drink clean water and be healthier. This work is in partnership with the communities so that other needs, both short-term and long-term, can be identified and met. KAC is helping in China, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Mexico. KAC also assists Texas communities, such as providing new school supplies after Hurricane Harvey or helping with youth programs in inner city Dallas.

* Helping Hands of Hico, known as H3, is comprised of Hico citizens and businesses who have banded together to help others with small needs in the areas of transportation, food boxes, local repairs, and utility assistance.
