A diagnosis of brain cancer changes a family's life forever. Often the disease causes devastating physical and emotional damage. Health insurance doesn’t cover many interventions known to improve quality of life, so many families are not able to get them. Keep Punching provides grants to individuals living with malignant brain tumors so they can afford therapies, supplements, assistive devices, copays, and other items health insurance does not cover.

HOPE FOR TOMORROW

Keep Punching’s research grants allow scientists to explore promising treatments and cures for brain cancer. We’re proud of the partnerships we’ve formed in Maryland and around the nation with premiere healthcare organizations including Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, the University of Maryland Medical Center, and Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Our funding has made pilot studies possible, one of which might reveal a cure for this devastating disease.

Keep Punching, is a 100% volunteered-based organization that supports patients, healthcare providers, and researchers in their fight to prevent and eradicate brain cancer and minimize treatment-related side effects that may impact function and comfort. Funds raised assist brain cancer patients and families; providers who are pursuing integrative approaches to healing; and researchers who are investigating traditional and complementary cancer-related therapies.
