Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO) is volunteer-based organization created and dedicated to the rescue and aid of abandoned and homeless animals in the New Orleans area, including responding to the immediate needs of those in need of medical care or those who are old, very young, sick, neglected, abused and deprived of love. ARNO promotes the foster, adoption and reunion of pets with caretakers as well as spaying and neutering all companion animals through our no-kill shelter. ARNO has rescued and rehomed over 12,000 cats and dogs since March of 2006. There is currently an unprecedented animal crisis in this region due to a struggling region still recovering from the economic impact of Covid and past storms. Owner surrenders have been at an all-time high as shelters are overflowing. ARNO has been called to assist with several hording situations. We cannot continue this important work without you. Please join as we race to the rescue for ARNO cats and dogs who would have no hope without you. You truly are a hero for choosing ARNO to help the voiceless, four-legged victims of the streets and the storms, but we cannot continue this important work without you.
