Hello family and friends, our family is involved in the Step Up 4 Down Syndrome Walk & 5K Run to support people with Down syndrome in our community. Not only am I involved with the Step Up for 4 Down Syndrome Walk & 5K Run, I am also honored to be the Vice-Chair of the Broward Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization, a great organization that serves people with Down syndrome and their families. The Down syndrome community has not been immune to the challenges and hardships of Covid-19. We have seen a greater need for our services during this time. I am proud that our organization 'stepped up' our efforts to meet the growing needs. We are kindly asking for your support to continue the work that we do--advocating for the value, acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.
For every step we take and every dollar we raise, we am helping to create a culture that fully includes the more than 400,000 Americans with Down syndrome. Last year, more than $14 million dollars was raised nationally.
