HOUSE OF HOPE

House of Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the treatment and support of those suffering from substance use and mental illness. Since 1969, House of Hope has provided hope and healing throughout South Florida to men and women in a residential and outpatient setting.

Many of our clients lack the financial resources to seek treatment. Our goal is to return our residents to the community as productive and self-supporting citizens, thus reducing dependence on government support or a life of crime.

Many men and women who arrive at House of Hope are currently experiencing homelessness, indigence or have exhausted all their personal and financial resources. In fact, most have hit rock bottom and are seeking a pathway back to health and sobriety after hospitalization or incarceration, most often for offenses related to their substance abuse. All these factors create enormous barriers to receiving formal education or career training, finding gainful employment, and securing stable and affordable housing.

House of Hope is a non-secure residential facility utilizing a Modified Therapeutic Communities Model. We provide a highly structured residential environment in which the primary goals are the treatment of substance abuse and mental health services and the fostering of personal growth and accountability.

Integrated within the Modified Therapeutic Community Model, is the Criminal Justice program, which serves special populations comprised of accused or adjudicated individuals referred from within the criminal justice system who are in need of treatment for substance abuse, often incarcerated for crimes related to their addiction.
