Running Orange County Since 1979
As the very first social running club in Orange County, the club got its name as a joke when founder Dave Reynolds came bumper-to-bumper with a trail of snails on a morning run. He mused that the group was running "at a snail's pace." Serendipitously, the name stuck, and A Snail's Pace Running Club soon became the Mecca for Southern California runners in the 80s.
At A Snail's Pace Running Club, all paces are welcome! The Run Club meets at A Snail's Pace stores throughout the week and is led by a member of A Snail's Pace team, we typically run a 5-mile loop which is announced on Strava. Participants are free to run or walk part of or the entire loop with the group.
Weekly run schedule
Monrovia: Mondays, at 5:45pm, 6pm run time.
Brea: Tuesdays, at 5:45pm, 6pm run time.
Mission Viejo: Wednesday, at 6pm, 6:15pm run time.
HB/Fountain Valley: Thursday, 6pm run time.
