Sauver Des Chiens, which is French for “To Save The Dogs”, was founded November 2016. SDC is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer, foster-based organization. We are based in Texas but have fosters and dogs throughout Texas and Louisiana.
Our passion and mission is to rescue neglected, unwanted, and abused, German Shepherd and Large Paw Dogs with the goal of finding them a new permanent and loving home. All dogs receive full veterinary care, including spay/neuter, positive training and necessary behavior modification before they are ready to adopt.
