Interfaith Works, founded in 1972, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency and a non-sectarian interfaith coalition of more than 165 affiliated congregations of diverse faiths, working together to meet the needs of the poor and homeless in Montgomery County, Maryland.
Interfaith Works helps people who are homeless or who are living in poverty. We support them in their work to move out of poverty and into financial stability. We do everything from housing and clothing to job training and parent mentoring to financial coaching and more. Our approach is to equip people with the tools they need to reach their goals. Interfaith Works is unique in that we work with people on the entire continuum of homelessness.
