The Run of Hope benefits pediatric cancer research at Seattle Children's. Please join me and Team Lukealicious to raise money for pediatric brain cancer. 14 years ago, we lost our beautiful son, Luke Spano Challen, just 4 years old, to a pediatric cancerous brain tumor. This tumor an anaplastic ependymoma required Luke to have countless surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, physical and occupational therapy, blood and plasma transfusions, and required him to be away, for months, from siblings, Lexi and Caleb, who were only 4 and 6, when Luke was diagnosed. Thankfully Seattle Children's and The Ronald McDonald House helped us navigate through this life changing and difficult time. Although not a day has gotten easier since we lost Luke, I know that it is imperative that we continue to fight for a cure and help other children and families affected by this devastating cancer diagnosis. No parent should ever lose a child. Today with your help, we will fight for a cure in Luke's Memory and for all children who are battling pediatric brain tumors. Every donation, 100%, that is made will go to support research for brain tumors in children.
Words cannot ever express our gratitude for the countless donations that come in year after year to support Team Lukealicious. For 14 years I have participated in this cause, and for the rest of my life I will continue to. Luke's legacy lives on, and for me this is my lifeline- a chance to share his story and help others. I will continue to raise money until there is a cure. Luke, we love you so much!
Thank you for considering donating to Team Lukealicious!
