Liz passed away tragically at age 23 during a hiking accident in Hawaii on June 22, 2013. We will never forget Liz and the unforgettable love that she shared with all who knew her. We think of Liz every day, and we will miss her forever.
This year, a team of runners (Chris Tarpey, Winston Korkoran & Ithamar Jotkowitz) will be running the 2020 Boston Marathon in her honor on Monday, April 20, 2020, to raise funds for the Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Liz's father, Christopher, was at the site of the attack in Boston on April 15, 2013, and got injured in the blast. In true "Boston Strong" spirit, Chris -- a perennial volunteer on Marathon Day -- has become a serial marathon runner and runs in his daughter's memory.
