This December, I will be taking part in the Chris Klug Foundation’s 21st Annual Summit for Life in Aspen, Colorado, a nighttime race up Aspen Mountain that climbs 3,268 vertical feet to the summit. I will be making this climb in honor of my wife, Tara, and our two boys, Atticus and Lockett, whose lives have been forever changed by organ donation.
I am climbing to honor organ, eye, and tissue donors and to help raise awareness for the lifesaving impact of donation. Today, more than 100,000 adults and children across the United States are waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant, with countless others in need of tissue transplants.
My goal is to raise $1,000 for the Chris Klug Foundation. Every dollar makes a difference—for every $1 raised, CKF can reach two people across the country with their lifesaving mission of educating and inspiring people to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors.
Please consider supporting my climb and helping me reach my goal. Your donation will help share a message of hope and remind others that one person’s decision to become a donor can give someone else a second chance at life.
Thank you for supporting me, my family, and the mission of the Chris Klug Foundation!
