Sadie Hawkins Shuffle 5K and Polar Plunge

Get ready to tease your hair, pop that collar, and bust a move at Montgomery Whitewater’s first annual Sadie Hawkins Shuffle 5K & Polar Plunge, presented by MAX Credit Union Saturday, February 14th.

Hearts will be racing as runners hit the trail for the Sadie Hawkins Shuffle: a 5K run that’ll get your adrenaline pumping faster than dancing to a Bon Jovi power ballad. Lace up those high-tops, grab your date, and moonwalk your way through a course that’s got more rhythm than an 80’s mixtape.

Turn up the tempo with the Polar Plunge, where the dance floor meets the shoreline. Big hair meets cold water as you and your Valentine run hand-in-hand into an icy beat drop. It's heart-pounding, unforgettable, and guaranteed to mess up all that Aqua Net. 

 The Polar Plunge is included in 5K entries. Registration for Polar Plunge only (no race, no t-shirt) is $15.

Sign up by Monday, February 2nd, 2026, to guarantee your official commemorative race t-shirt and post-race beverage! Race t-shirts are not guaranteed for participants registered after this date.

10:30 am - 5K Race results and awards 

Don’t forget a towel and a change of clothes!

All participants will receive a 20% discount on ice skating and the ropes course for February 14th at Montgomery Whitewater!
