Where is the race located?
The race is located at Angel's Stadium. The address is 2000 E Gene Autry Way in Anaheim, California. From the 57 freeway, exit Orangewood Avenue and turn west. Angels Stadium will be on your right (where the big red A is!). Please follow parking signs and turn into the Orangewood Avenue Parking Lot.
What is the theme of the race?
The theme of the race is Dia De Los Muertos. Come celebrate Day of the Dead with your best sugar skull make up. We will have activities to celebrate as well!
Where should I park?
This will be a busy event, so we highly recommend that people arrive early and carpool. There will be parking available in the Orangewood Avenue Parking Lot(see below map). All parking for participants and spectators is FREE.
Are pets (dogs, etc.) allowed at the event?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the grounds at Angel's Stadium. Please make sure they stay at home.
Are there awards?
All participants in this years event will receive medal for finishing the race as well as a finisher's certificate (found in your portal). Overall top three finishers for both male and female of the race will receive the following:
- 1st Place: $150 Cash, $150 Gift Certificate to Northgate Market, $100 Gift Certificate A Snails Pace Running Shop and Two Club Level Tickets to a Kings Hockey Game (including parking).
- 2nd Place: $100 Cash, $100 Gift Certificate to Northgate Market, $50 Gift Certificate A Snails Pace Running Shop and Two Club Level Tickets to a Kings Hockey Game (including parking).
- 3rd Place: $50 Cash, $50 Gift Certificate to Northgate Market, $25 Gift Certificate A Snails Pace Running Shop and Two Club Level Tickets to a Kings Hockey Game (including parking).
For first place runners, both male and female in each age group, they will each receive a $50 gift certificate to Northgate Market. Click here to see age groups.
What should I bring?
The weather is different each race year and we do start early, but we encourage the use of sunscreen before you get to the race. This year weather forecast is currently calling for 65 degrees with some clouds in the sky. Feel free to bring a camera to take pictures as you enjoy this great family event!
What time is the event?
Registration opens the morning of the race at 6:30am in the event expo. The 5K race will be starting at 8:00am with announcements beginning at 7:30am. Please plan on arriving at least 45 minutes prior to the run and earlier if you need to pick anything up or are registering.
How do I pick up my race packet?
The early packet pickup will be on Friday October 11th from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Downtown Anaheim Community Center (250 East Center Street, Anaheim, 92805) . You may also do so on race day beginning at 6:30am. We highly encourage you to not wait until race day to pick up your information as we have a lot of day of registrations. You are able to have someone else pick up your packet if you provide them a written letter to do so.
What should I do if a family member or friend has not registered?
Registration will remain open until the morning of the race and will close 15 minutes before the start at 7:45am. Registration will begin at 6:30am. Feel free to have your family member or friend register morning of the race! Please keep in mind that some additional items (i.e. shirts) are pre-registration only and may be unavailable day of or become unavailable prior to the race if sold out.
What is available after the race?
There will be a post-race party with water, light snacks, food sold by Northgate Market and a DJ that will be in the Expo (right next to the finish line).
How is the race timed?
The 5K race is chip timed. Chips are located on the foam strip on the back of your bib. Please wear your bib on the front of your shirt for accurate timing. Result for the race will be available on our website, in real-time as you complete the race. We will send out a separate email once all the finish line photos and videos are uploaded to your result portal as well.

Any etiquette reminders?
The 5K race will be timed by electronic chip, therefore there is no need to hurry across the start line. Your race time will begin when you cross the start line and will stop when you cross the finish line. If you will be doing a 5K race with children or strollers please line up at the back. This is a community event, so be sure to abide by our values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
