Thank you for your interest in the "Neighborhood Fun Runs!" Our goal for this series of runs is to meet racers in a small, informal setting and introduce them to fun, local businesses and trails through an affordable, relaxed (yet timed) running experience. In most cases, the Fun Run partners with a local charity as well. The nominal registration fee covers a few race company costs and we ask that racers also bring an 'in-kind' donation to the charity which will be collected at the time of the run - usually non-perishible food items or hygiene products. Our hope is that you have a great experience meeting 3W Races and will come back to race with us again at Neighborhood Fun Runs or our other, larger events.
Bring your water bottle, and we'll have coolers for refills available!
This is a super low-key, no-frills race especially for those who don't want a 'high-pressure' or high cost venue, but do want a fun, safe, timed run with their friends. (But there may be some random prizes.... you never know!)
Walkers and people of all ages are welcome! Stay and have some refreshments after the run. Cost is just $5 for the 5k! Register online in advance, please. Online registration is free and lets us know you are coming. Bring your $5 to the run start. Same day registration will be available as well. Bib pick up is on race day, at the event.

Parking, Directions, Schedule
Date: October 1, 2013
Time: Run starts at 6:15 PM Rain or Shine. Bib pick up is at 6:00 PM at the trail head.
Charity Focus: Growing Home of Westminster. Bring Peanut Butter or Jelly to stock their after school program cupboards!
Register in advance here, please. This site will not collect your registration $ (to avoid extra processing fees) so please bring your $5 to the run start. Your 'last minute' friends may also sign up at 5:45 PM at the trail head.
Cost: $5 per person plus a jar of Peanut Butter or Jelly. (Or other non-perishible items, but we're focusing on PB&J right now!)
Course: Distance is 5k. Much of the trail is dirt and some is single track, which may not be appropriate for street strollers. Leashed dogs are welcome. There is no water on the course. It will be marked with turns and mile markers.
Location: Trail head is at the dead end of Jay Street in Westminster. Jay Street intersects with Westcliff Parkway near the North West end of the AMLI Apartments Complex. Westcliff Parkway may be reached by Church Ranch Blvd or Westminster Blvd. Click Here for a Google map of the location.
