Mermaid Open Water Swim

The primary purpose of the Mermaid Open Water Swim to give back to the community. We are dedicating our Mermaid Open Water Swim to Nick Dworet: https://nicholasdworetfund.org/. 100% of the proceeds donated will go directly to the family. Everyone who knew Nick loved him. He was a great friend who people confided in and liked to talk to. He always made time for his friends and helped them with anything he could. He was the captain of the swim team and also played water polo at Douglas. He was a great competitor, but a better sportsman! He will be remembered by everyone he knew.

As a tribute to Nick, we are accepting donations that will go to the Swim for Nick Foundation. All donations are used to help provide college scholarships to swimmers at Douglas HS and TS Aquatics.  We want to thank you all in advance for your donations. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone on August 1st and celebrating the life of an amazing merman!
