RefugePoint was founded in 2005 to identify refugees who had fallen through the cracks of humanitarian aid. Over time, RefugePoint developed a unique, full-service response model for assisting urban refugees and facilitating their self-reliance.
Instead of asking, “how can we feed and shelter more refugees longer?” RefugePoint asks, “what are the long-term solutions that will enable refugees to lead healthy lives and become contributing members of society again?” Those are the solutions that RefugePoint works to expand through our three tactics: direct services, field building, and systems change. We deal with the solutions side of refugee response rather than the emergency assistance side.
At the end of 2023, RefugePoint passed an incredible milestone of supporting over 140,000 refugees to access resettlement and other pathways to safety. Since then, we've continued to work towards our goal of supporting 100,000 more. With an alarming 130 million people expected to be forcibly displaced or stateless by the end of 2024 (UN Refugee Agency), the need for action is urgent and we need your help.
By giving a gift you'll be supporting the necessary programs that help assist refugees facing extreme vulnerabilities and amplify their stories.
