5th Virtual Summer Smith 5k Addiction Awareness Memorial Run

Our intention is to provide education and awareness regarding the disease of addiction to the public through this event. If one person is saved, or one conversation is started between a parent and a child, then our goal will have been reached.  

Any money raised over the cost of the event will be utilized as follows:

1/3 will be given to the Schenectady YWCA of NENY to help a woman in recovery with her housing needs.

1/3 will be given to the Addiction's Care Center of Albany to help with local community education regarding the disease of addiction.

1/3 will be given to Friends of Recovery to help provide resources to those who struggle with addiction, including their families and to support a culture of recovery in New York State
