#running4rob

This event, #running4rob, is a World-Wide Virtual 5K Run to help support Rob Liebers in continuing the rest of his journey and coming away with a win. There is a $10 registration fee with all proceeds benefiting Rob. For another $10, you can add a race t-shirt, that can be picked up at Fresh Press Studios (100 North Main Street in Jamestown, NY).  Race T-shirts can also mailed for $15.   Please chose option during registration check out.  Any additional donations will be very much welcomed, directly benefiting Rob. The virtual race will take place on April 20, 2019. You can run on your own, join friends, or put together a group run in honor of Rob. Once complete, your time can be entered and uploaded to the race results.

A devoted father and mentor to so many, a compassionate attorney and dedicated community member, and a talented and committed runner can help tell the story of Rob. But the portrayal and depiction of Rob goes much deeper and farther than what many of us see on the surface. Rob's kind heart, amazing spirit, sincere character, and motivation towards everyone that has ever crossed his path is what makes him the person he is. As many already know, Rob was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, ALK-negative anaplastic large cell lymphoma, in July of 2018. He has spent the past year battling through the challenges and life-changing moments of this disease. That journey is not over as Rob continues to fight onward and prepare for a bone marrow transplant this year.

It has been many months since Rob was able to lace up his own shoes and head out on the roads for a run. Let's make this event something truly inspirational for him to look back at. This is the moment we all come together and support a man currently running the hardest race of his life.
