Washington Island Ultra

Your registration is secure - please read the space and consider donating to projects we're helping fund on the Island. 

Every year we donate money back to projects or worthy causes that are happening on the Island. We've been able to build a relationship with the Red Barn Committee and have some really cool ideas on things we're going to work on improving at the park in which we host the event from. 


Here's where your donation money is going this year:

1. We're going to be building a new fence at the parking area of the Beach. If you've noticed, the current fence is old and falling apart in places. An easy fix that will help the park look more appealing to visitors as they too enjoy the Island!

2. We're sponsoring two teams of kids from the schools on the Island to come participate with us! Each team will have up to 5 racers and can choose to race either the 36 or 24 hour event at no cost to the kids or their families. How cool is that!? Getting these kids out on the race course and watching them push themselves is going to be so cool!

3. New Sign. This one will be fun and also a great yet simple improvement to the beach area. Replacing the current sign with a custom made sign will again just improve the appeal of the area as the city also works to make some really exciting improvements to the beach side of the park. 

4. Finally, we donate the remaining amount to the Red Barn who hosts live music all summer time. The Barn has become an integral part of our event and I feel compelled to continue our donations back tot he committee to help with basic maintenance, upkeep and improvements as the barn gets used form not only our event but all year round hosting awesome local music and bringing people together.
