he race will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Race bibs will not be mailed. We encourage all registered participants to pick up their race bib and t-shirt Friday, 3/16, 3:00-8:00 PM or Saturday, 3/17, 12:00-4:00 PM at Dick’s Sporting Goods at Fallon Gateway, 2820 Dublin Blvd. Race bibs will be available for pick-up on race day at the Pre-Registration Booth from 7:15 to 8:00 AM at the California Custom Carpets parking lot located at 6815 Dublin Boulevard, across from the Dublin Civic Center. Registration will be available online at www.runsignup.com until Saturday, March 17 or registration on race day is available for $35.00. You may also register in person on 3/16 and 3/17 at bib pick-up area at Dick’s Sporting Goods at Fallon Gateway, 2820 Dublin Blvd. Bib pick-up will not begin until the advertised time.
The race will begin at 8:30 AM on Dublin Boulevard near Athens Burgers and finish on the Alamo Canal Trail behind the Dublin Library. An exhilarating warm-up will be conducted by Zumba instructor, Robin Cranford, at 8:10 AM on Dublin Boulevard. Follow this link for a copy of the race route. Please keep this event fun for everyone. Pets, skateboards, rollerblades and scooters are not allowed on the course.
Limited street parking will be available on Sierra Lane and Sierra Court; please do not park in the New Life Church lot. Also, look for designated “Event Parking” signs on Clark Avenue and Village Parkway. Free Bike Valet located near the carnival area in the Sport Grounds parking lot and will be open at 7:30 AM. A round trip shuttle service is available starting at 7:30 AM, park in the Carl Zeiss Meditec Offices at 5160 Hacienda Drive. Shuttles run every 30 minutes and will drop you off on at the corner of Dublin Boulevard and Civic Plaza.
The B-Tag Timing Chip will be used for all timed participants. This disposable timing chip will be attached to your race bib. No further action is required to activate your timing chip. To receive an official time you must wear your race bib. Without a timing chip, your time willnot be recorded. There will be a clock at the finish line to display the running time for the event.
After the Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk, please continue to the Festival Main Stage for post-race activities which includes food, entertainment and a drawing for prizes. After the completion of the race, join the festivities at the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. The festival will be held on March 17 and 18, 2018 from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
