Hayden Sprint Triathlon **ATHENA**
"What is Athena?"
All registration options for the Hayden Triathlon are for the same course.
The difference comes in "categorization" of racers, and who they will be racing against time-wise if their goal is to be on the podium.
Female athletes who opt for the "Athena" category are electing to run against any female athlete weighing greater than 165 pounds, who has also opted for that category. Otherwise, in the standard race option, they will simply be "competing" against other women in their particular age group.
Complete voluntary, and based on individual choice.
