It is embarrassing that it has taken as long as it has to realize that we have a serious problem in this country, and it is tragic that it took the murder of George Floyd and countless others before him to reach this point. However, the time for ignorance has passed and we must do everything in our power to continue this powerful movement and to see it through for the sake of our black brothers and sisters around the world. Many of us will never know the struggle that our black peers face everyday, but we can stand together now and be there for them in every way possible. By signing up for this race, 100% of your entry fee will be donated to the Black Lives Matter Foundation to fight for equality.
