FUN AND FURRY VIRTUAL 5K

Calling all runners, joggers, walkers and dog lovers!  Come on out and help support Senior Houndsabound (SHA) and Suncoast Basset Rescue (SBR) in our joint virtual 5K event. You can run, walk or even waddle with your dog. This event is not just for hounds.  Runner and community safety is a top priority for our Fun and Furry 5K participants and we encourage you to follow your local guidelines for maintaining appropriate social distancing to keep participants safe. Registration begins on 9/1/2020 and runs through 1/31/2021 @ noon. Your $35.00 registration fee includes a tee shirt and participation medal. A personal racing bib is available for printing once you have registered. Registration fee includes shipping.

Like many other nonprofit organizations, COVID-19 has had a dramatic impact on Senior Houndsabound and Suncoast Basset Rescue.  Proceeds go to support  medical care to senior hounds at Senior Houndsabound, a residential assisted living facility for hounds and Suncoast Basset Rescue, a rescue that takes in all basset hounds and basset mixes and provides them with the medical care they need to find new homes. Without our rescues the plight of senior dogs through no fault of their own would be to go to shelters. You can run, walk, or waddle from October 25, 2020 through January 31, 2021.
