Healing4Heroes 5K Virtual Run/Walk

Did you know that each day on average 22 U.S. veterans commit suicide? We have the opportunity to make a difference in veterans' lives August 22nd through the Healing4Heroes organization. Healing4Heroes is a non-profit organization that serves dual purposes: supporting our nation's veterans and giving local shelter animals a second chance at life. This organization pairs veterans and shelter animals together to help give the veterans the mental and physical support they need to live a happy and product life. On August 22nd, I will be leading a virtual 5K run/walk to help raise money for this worthy cause. It costs $92 a month to sponsor a service dog for a veteran and our goal is to sponsor 4 deserving pairs for a year. In order to do this, we need at least 200 runners, walkers and supporters to sign up and join us on August 22nd.
