Join us as we journey to one of the most iconic destinations in the world with the Rome Virtual Race, part of our exciting Race the World Series. From the grandeur of the Colosseum to the beauty of the Trevi Fountain and the timeless majesty of St. Peter's Basilica, Rome is a city where history, culture, and adventure come together.

For thousands of years, Rome has inspired travelers, dreamers, conquerors, and explorers. Now it's your turn to experience the spirit of this remarkable city as you complete your miles wherever you are in the world.

Complete your race anytime between August 1 and December 31, 2026. Run, walk, hike, treadmill, or complete your miles at your own pace and on your own schedule.

Participants will earn this stunning Rome finisher medal, featuring some of the city's most recognizable landmarks, including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, St. Peter's Basilica, and the ancient ruins that make Rome known as The Eternal City.

We are proud to donate 15% of every registration to a nonprofit organization that provides fresh meals to people impacted by natural disasters, humanitarian crises, and emergencies around the world. Every mile completed helps support their mission of nourishing communities in times of need.

 What is a Virtual Race?                             

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or ev en at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks, 10K, half marathon and more!

For each of our virtual races, we choose a charity to donate a portion of each registration to. We’ve already raised more than $1,00,000 for charities from races here at Virtual Run Events!  Our goal is to continue to help different charities around the world.
