New Year, New Race! One of the important things 2020 taught us is how to adapt. So, in the spirit of adaptation, our "Run for the Gold" event will be going forward VIRTUALLY! Grab your family and friends and go for a 5K run/walk any time you want between March 3-10, 2021! Upon completion of the event, each participant will receive a beautiful, Oak Grove Original Shirt - Designed by Ms. Green!
Your participation in this race will support our teachers and teacher programs. During the registration process, you'll be able to designate the teacher(s) you want to honor. The teachers and staff do so much for us every day! Let's get out there and run/walk a 5K for them.
Here’s how it works:
1.) Register and pay $25 to run/walk/crawl the 5K distance on a course of your choosing (or treadmill). Registration is open now. The race will occur from March 3-10, 2021. The event will close at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
** Price Per Person is $25 / Max of $100 per household. Please fill out a paper registration if you have a family larger than 4 people. Click here to download registration form. **
2.) If you want your times published on our leader board, please submit your times via RunSignup. We are using the honor system. (So, even if you don't run/walk the distance, no one will know. Enjoy your shirt anyway!)
3.) We are offering an in person t-shirt pick-up. Location and Dates to be determined. Please watch your e-mail for updates. The t-shirt pick-up will occur upon the close of the event.
4.) Please tag us in any social media posts at #RFTG2021 - we want to see all your smiling faces!
We live in a wonderful city. Peachtree City is full of wooded paths, nature preserves, parks, and lakes. Let's use this as an excuse to go outside and enjoy our community! Register today, and let's celebrate our school and run/walk virtually together!

3.4 Mile Route
5K map (really 3.4 miles) Mostly follows our Run for the Gold route.
1.) I see there is a $100 Max per household. How can I register on Runsignup.com and only pay $100 for my household of five (or more)?
2.) What do you mean virtual? How do you run a virtual race?
3.) When will I get my t-shirt?
4.) Can you mail my t-shirt?
5.) Can I pick up my friends' or another family member's shirt?
6.) How late can I register?
7.) If I register now before the event begins (March 3rd), can I run and get it over with?
8.) Where do I post my results?
9.) I don't want to run and I do not want a t-shirt, but I want to give money to the cause. How do I do this?
