Description
Avon High School's Student Government is putting on a 5k walk/run to benefit Abby Nickol. Abby is 14 and has faced a lot of challenges in her life. She was born with Primordial Dwarfism types II and III, along with Mitochondrial Disease, Von Willebrand Disease, and much more. She is a very strong young lady that tackles each day with a smile on her face, and she is an inspiration to those around her. To learn more about Abby and her life, please follow the link below! The Nickol Family (Amy, Mike, Abby, Tyler, and Matthew)
This is the Nickol family. Amy and Mike are Abby's amazing parents, and her younger brothers are Tyler and Matthew. As you can imagine, this family has been through it all, yet they continue to face each new challenge with smiles and enthusiasm. Their love for each other continues to get them through each day!
T-shirts
Please note: Due to the need to order t-shirts slightly before the date of the event, the option to select a t-shirt size will no longer be availible past April 13th. We will be ordering extra t-shirts to accomodate participants that register past the 13th, but these people, along with people who register on the day of the 5K, will not be guaranteed a shirt.
Donations
We are aware that there are Abby's Army soldiers all over the country! Due to this, we will also be collecting donations outside of the event registration fee. If you cannot attend our event, any donations that you would like to give would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way! If you would like to donate any amount of money, please follow the "Donate" tab! Thank you very much!
