Team World Vision Fun Run

Sign in starts at 5:30 pm/  Run is at 6 pm starting from Green is Good by Kate.  Across from Bulldog Park in Crown Point at 186 S. West Street.

Event is FREE, but we ask for a donation to help Nancy, Tom, Penny, Tina & their Team to raise money for World Vision.  They will be running the Chicago Marathon (or 26.2 miles this Fall if the Marathon is cancelled) on behalf of World Vision.  World Vision provides life-changing clean water to children and communities in the developing world.  Nearly 1,000 children under age 5 die every day from diarrhea caused by contaminated water, poor sanitation, and improper hygiene. But we believe the global water and sanitation crisis can be solved within our lifetimes. 

World Vision provides more clean water than any nongovernment organization in the world, providing clean water to one new person every 10 seconds. They work to help communities lift themselves out of poverty for good by addressing issues around clean water, hunger, health, education, economic empowerment, and child protection.
