Description
The Good News Ministries Charity 5K Trail Run is an exciting course, winding through the wooded hills, ridges and through ravines. This trail is awesome for runners and walkers alike.
Yes, it will be a little harder than your average 5K, but the course is setup to accommodate runners, walkers and even hikers who just want to experience the outdoors with friends while providing hope to desperate youth.
Volunteers and water stations will be set up in order to insure that everyone can complete the course.
This year all participants in the Good News Ministries Charity 5K Trail Run will be supporting the Good News Ministries Boys Home. All proceeds from the trail run will be used to provide curriculum, supplies and tuition for our academy's 2017-2018 school year. Our academy serves as an outreach to inner-city teen boys, operating as a residential school program for grades 9-12. All students are able to attend free-of-charge.
What does it cost? $25, this includes a race T-shirt, race medal and this year's race will be chip-timed and official results will be posted online!
