Woodstock 5K

The Anniston Runners Club (ARC) and our members invite you to our premier annual event- The Historic Woodstock 5K and Kidstock 1K!  The 2024 race has been named the RRCA Alabama 5K State Championship.  Woodstock is a fun, healthy, community event where more than 1200 runners and walkers come to shake their tail feathers! Go ahead and mark your calendar for August 3rd, 2024 for one of the oldest footrace in the southeast! 

Woodstock is an exciting 5K with world class start/finish lines, our famous finish on Woodstock Avenue, and a totally groovy post-race celebration with food vendors and fun!  IT has been over 10 YEARS since the course record has been broken by Male and Female runners. The individual with the best time for female or male that breaks the course record will receive an additional $500!  That is a potential of $1000 total for the overall winners!   For more information on awards and other race details visit the WOODSTOCK WEBPAGE

Don't forget to check out our ever-so-popular Team Challenge! Team runners have a chance to win a cash prize for the team with the most participants and  for the fastest male, female, and coed team.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

• Friday, August 2nd:

12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Packet Pickup - Anniston High School  - Kilby house (1301 Woodstock Ave Anniston, AL 36207)

We recommend you pick up your shirt and bib on this day – Race Day is hectic and if you wait until race morning you may have to wait in long lines!

NOTE: Other participants are allowed to pick up your packet with your final confirmation email in-hand.

To make the process faster, please bring your final confirmation email printed or visible on your phone.

• Saturday, August 3rd – Race Day!

6:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. – Last chance to pick up shirts and bibs
7:15 a.m. – Call to the start Line
7:30 a.m. – Woodstock 5K start! 
9:00 a.m. – Kidstock 1K Run/Walk Start
10:00 a.m. – Awards ceremony for Overall Winners and Masters in AHS Auditorium.  Age Group awards will be handed out in the courtyard near the timer result tent.  PLEASE NOTE official RESULTS are not on your print out.  It does not include overall and masters awards.  Check AGE GROUP TABLE to make sure or check results online.
