Run for Autism! 5K

The 2016 Run for Autism is a fund raising event for Glenwood Montgomery.  Funds raised will be used to help support Glenwood Montgomery’s expanded services to children who present with, or are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 23, 2016.  It will include a 5-K Run and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.  It will be held at the Glenwood Montgomery Office Building located at 2361 Fairlane Drive, Montgomery, AL 36116. (Glenwood Montgomery is located in Executive Park.  From the Eastern Blvd. take Park Blvd. into Executive Park. Turn left onto Fairlane Drive.  Glenwood Montgomery is the first building on the left.

Course:  The5-K race will begin near the Glenwood Montgomery office building in Executive Park.  The 5K run will proceed through the Executive Park complex and into neighborhood, and end back near the Glenwood Montgomery building.

Age Groups: 5K Run – Ages 20 & below, 21 to 30, 31 to 40, 41 to 50, 51 to 60, 61 & above.

1 Mile Fun Run – All ages

Refreshments: Water, drinks, and snacks will be available at the finish line.

Gift: Unisex cool technical shirt (Must register by April 4th to be assured a printed shirt on the day of the race.)

Awards: Bobblehead trophies awarded to top 3 male and female runners, top masters, and top 3 in each age group in the 5K run.
