Where a dash of adventure meets a lot of laughter.
Choose your quest with the 5K, 2K, or Kids Dashes and jump into an experiential run with a playful Viking flair. Fueled by upbeat energy and smile-worthy moments along the course, it feels more like a moving celebration than a traditional race.
After you cross the finish line, keep the good times rolling at our post-race fair. Think music, games, kid-friendly fun, and plenty of space to relax, refuel, and swap stories with your clan.
Our Run/Walk
For Adults/Seniors/Youth: 5K & 2K races
For Children 4-7 years: 200 yards
For Children 2-3 years: 80 yards
Prizes are awarded for the fastest in 5K runners, also 2K youth runners. Everyone gets a medal!
Race check-in available during the event in Golden Gate Park, or on Friday, May 1, in Scandinavian School & Cultural Center, 511 Laguna Honda Blvd, San Francisco.

Volunteer during the event
We offer multiple volunteer shifts during the event from set up to race track cheer squad to hosting activity booths (shift available between 6am to 2pm). Fill out the contact form below (or email to info@scandinavianschool.org) to find out more and to sign up as a volunteer.
For youth & young adults 12-20 years of age who volunteer for more than an hour, we can waive the registration fee for the race, so don't hesitate to reach out.
