'Superheroes vs. Villains' 5K Race

The University of North Florida Equestrian Club and Team Presents:

'Superheroes vs. Villains' 5K Race

Sunday February 8th, 2015 at 8 a.m. 

Registration opens at 6:30 a.m.

Located at the University of North Florida 

 

This year, the University of North Florida Eqestrian team has had one of their most successful years yet! However, due to the fact that our Team is a “club team,” we are only able to receive a limited amount of funding from the University. This leaves our riders to pay almost entirely out of pocket to proudly represent UNF and the Jacksonville area at competitions. These expenses include competition entry fees, travel (transportation and hotel), trainer fees, and show attire, which can be a burden when competing frequently as our teams do.

As a way to fundraise for our up and coming regional competitions and in order to give back to our community through a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project, the club and team are proud to host this 5k!

Runners are also encouraged to dress up in their best superhero or villain outfit, as awards will be chosen for the most creative costumes! 

Registration Fees;
