The EXMI RRC annual membership is designed for runners who are seeking a community that shares the same passion for hard work, achieving personal records, and feeling a sense of pride in being a part of something bigger than themselves. There are no specific time standards or expectations, and this is not just limited to experienced runners.

Let's collaborate and support each other in striving towards our goals together!

What's Included?

Free Team Training

Weekly interval session at local HS Track, YMCA Cumberland Loop, or Fairgrounds Park in Valparaiso.
Tuesday at 5:15 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Weekend Team Meet up during peak training seasons 
February thru May - 7:30 a.m.
June through November - 7:00 a.m.

Everything listed above for Team Training and Basic Training Plan, PLUS:

Take your pick of any coach from the Extra Mile Fitness Company, each of whom is dedicated to helping you reach your goal event. With their expertise, they will create a customized training plan that will suit your unique needs and abilities. You can expect to receive regular communication from your coach prior to the start of your training, and they will be available to provide guidance and support whenever you need it.

Goal Races

While optional, many of our members choose to train for a spring race in April or May. This year, we're focusing on the weekend of May 3-4 as our goal race weekend. Below, you'll find the list of races we'll be targeting together:

Zeigler Kalamazoo Marathon - May 4, 2025 (Includes options for a 5k, 10k, Half-Marathon, & Full Marathon) 

Flying Pig Marathon Weekend - May 2-4, 2025 (Includes options for a 5k, 10k, Half-Marathon, & Full Marathon)

Indy Mini Half Marathon - May 3, 2025 (Includes options for a 5k or Half-Marathon)

*Registration fees for races are NOT included in run club fee. All members wishing to train for a race will register for the race on their own.
