Description
Put some sneakers on and join us for the annual Pumpkin Run 5k on the beautiful Wichita State campus!
Pumpkin Run participants will receive an event T-SHIRT and a FINISHER MEDAL. AWARDS will be given to the top age group finishers and overall winners.
Can’t make it in person this year? Race with us virtually. Get this year's shirt and medal, but run on your timeline.
Plan to run with friends? Invite friends to run with you using your personalized link/code. When 5 or more friends have registered with your code, you will get $15 off your registration with our REFERRAL PROGRAM.
Have a little that would like to run but isn’t ready for a 5k? Sign them up for the Little Pumpkin Run 1k fun run. This race is for children up to 10 years of age. 1k runners will get a run t-shirt and a finisher medal.

$1 from each registration will go towards Shocker Support Locker.

Awards, Medals, and Swag
5k Medals and Awards:
Every participant will receive a finisher medal when they cross over the finish line.
AWARDS will be given to the Top Overall Male and Female finishers. A trophy will be also given to the Top Three Male and Female 5k finishers in the following age categories: 9 & Under | 10-14 | 15-19 | 20-24 | 25-29 | 30-34 | 35-39 | 40-44 | 45-49 | 50-54 | 55-59 | 60-64 | 65-69 | 70 & over
We are no longer have a MASTERS DIVISION.
1k Medals and Awards:
First 120 participants will receive a finisher medal when they cross over the finish line.
5k T-shirt design
The 2024 5k Pumpkin Run shirt was designed by Seth Topel, student marketing assistant, with Campus Recreation. Each registered participant will receive a exclusive Pumpkin Run short sleeve t-shirt. Participants can opt for a long sleeve for an additional charge or opt for no shirt at all.
